I remember the days of old; I meditate on all Your doings, the works of Your hands I ponder. I stretch out my hands to You; my soul thirsts for You like parched land. Hasten to answer me, 0 Lord, for my spirit fails me. Hide not Your face from me lest I become like those who go down into the pit. At dawn let me hear of Your kindness, for in You I trust. Show me the way I should walk, for to You I lift up my soul. Rescue me from my enemies, 0 Lord, for in You I hope. Teach me to do Your will, for You are my God. May Your good spirit guide me on level ground. For Your names sake, 0 Lord, preserve me; in Your justice free me from distress. He has entered the Holy of Holies with His own blood, to wash away all our sins. On the night He was arrested, He revealed Himself to be truly the Lamb of sacrifice, as He gave His Body and Blood to His holy Apostles as food and drink for all the faithful. R. Amen Gospel: John 4:34-38 "Jesus said to them, "My food is to do the will of the one who sent me and to finish his work Do you not say, In four months the harvest will be here? I tell you, look up and see the fields ripe for the harvest The reaper is already receiving his payment and gathering crops for eternal life, so that the sower and reaper can rejoice together. For here the saying is verified that One sows and another reaps. I sent you to reap what you have not worked for; others have done the work and you are sharing the fruit of their work." First Gospel: Matthew 4:1823 As he was walking by the Sea of Galilee, he saw two brothers, Simon who is called Peter, and his brother Andrew, casting a net into the sea; they were fishermen. He said to them, "Come after me, and I will make you fishers of men." At once they left their nets and followed him. He walked along from there and saw two other brothers, James, the son of Zebedee, and his brother John. They were in a boat, with their father Zebedee, mending their nets. He called them, and immediately they left their boat and their father and followed him. He went around all of Galilee, teaching in their synagogues, proclaiming the gospel of the kingdom, and curing every disease and illness among the people. Second Gospel: Mark 6:7-13 He summoned the Twelve and began to send them out two by two and gave them authority over unclean spirits. He instructed them to take nothing for the journey but a walking stick no food no sack no money in their belts. They were, however, to wear sandals but not a second tunic. He said to them, "Wherever you enter a house, stay there until you leave from there. Whatever place does not welcome you or listen to you, leave there and shake the dust off your feet in testimony against them." So they went off and preached repentance. They drove out many demons, and they anointed with oil many who were sick and cured them. Third Gospel: Luke 5:1-11 While the crowd was pressing in on Jesus and listening to the word of Go4, he was standing by the Lake of Gennesaret. He saw two boats there alongside the lake; the fishermen had disembarked and were washing their nets. Getting into one of the boats, the one belonging to Simon, he asked him to put out a short distance from the shore. Then he sat down and taught the crowd from the boat After he had finished speaking, he said to Simon, "Put out into the deep water and lower your nets for a catch. " Simon said in reply, "Master, we have worked hard all night and have caught nothing, but at your command I will lower the nets." When they had done this, they caught a great number of fish and their nets were tearing. They signaled to their partners in the other boat to come to help them. They came and filled both boats so that they were in danger of sinking. When Simon Peter saw this, he fell at the knees of Jesus and said, "Depart from me, Lord, for I am a sinful man. " For astonishment at the catch of fish they had made seized him and all those with him, and likewise James and John, the sons of Zebedee, who were partners of Simon. Jesus said to Simon, "Do not be afraid, from now on you will be catching men." When they brought their boats to the shore, they left everything and followed him. Fourth Gospel: John 1:35-51 The next day John was there again with two of his disciples, and as he watched Jesus walk by, he said, "Behold, the Lamb of God." The two disciples heard what he said and followed Jesus. Jesus turned and saw them following him and said to them, "What are you looking for?" They said to him, "Rabbi (which translated means Teacher), "where are you staying?" He said to them, "Come, and you will see. " So they went and saw where he was staying, and they stayed with him that day. It was about four in the afternoon. Andrew, the brother of Simon Peter, was one of the two who heard John and followed Jesus. He first found his own brother Simon and told him, "We have found the Messiah" (which is translated Anointed). Then he brought him to Jesus. Jesus looked at him and said, "You are Simon the son of John,~ you will be called Kephas" (which is translated Peter). The next day he decided to go to Galillee, and he found Philip. And Jesus said to him, "Follow me." Now Philip was from Bethsaida, the town of Andrew and Peter. Philip found Nathanael and told him, "We have found the one about whom Moses wrote in the law, and also the prophets, Jesus, son of Joseph, from Nazareth." But Nathanael said to him, "Can anything good come from Nazareth?" Philip said to him, "Come and see." Jesus saw Nathanael coming toward him and said of him, "Here is a true Israelite. There is no duplicity in him." Nathanael said to him, "How do you know me?" Jesus answered and said to him, "be fore Philip called you, I saw you under the fig tree." Nathanael answered him, "Rabbi, you are the Son of God, you are the King of Israel." Jesus answered and said to him, "Do you believe because I told you that I saw you under the fig tree? You will see greater things than this." And he said to him, "Amen, amen, I say to you, you will see the sky opened and the angels of God ascending and descending on the Son of Man." Then the priest intones the Many years:Priest: To our holy ecumenical pontiff, N, grant, 0 Lord, many years. R. God grant him many years.
