Person Needing Prayer:  Elizabeth
Nature of Request: Cancer
Description:  Please pray for healing for Elizabeth who at 36 has breast cancer, a double mastectomy and some cancer in the lymph nodes. It does not look good.She has two very small children.  Please pray for Nicholas, Iwanna and Olga and their successful immigration to Canada.

Please pray for Fr. Andriy and Halyna and their family. Both Father and his wife are in constant pain. Fr. Andriy for 20 years. Halyna since a December car accident.

Please pray for Michel, a good friend to all the Eastern Churches. He is being eaten alive by cancer throughout his body. The suffering is terrible. Pray to metr. Andrey Sheptytsky for a miraculous healing!

Nature of Request: Conversion
Description:  Dr. Joseph Booker, who, until recently, was the leading provider of
abortions in Mississippi, is in federal prison in Forrest City,
Arkansas, for tax evasion. Please pray for Dr. Booker and that God will
use his incarceration to work a change of his heart so that he will not
resume his abortion practice when he gets out in June.

Nature of Request: Sickness
Description:  Mrs. Selby is not doing well at all. A blood clot has blocked the valve between her stomach and intestine and her digestive tract is completely shut down. In response, her liver, pancreas, and other organs have also stopped functioning. The family is just waiting for God to take her home. Please pray for her comfort, as well as the family's, in the transition from her earthly life to the eternal life God has prepared for her.

Mrs. Anderson, who has Alzheimer's and is in the hospital with pneumonia, is not doing well either. She's no longer able to swallow because the flap in her throat dividing the esophagas from the wind pipe isn't working (due to the Alzheimer's) and she's aspirating her food. The family is sure God is preparing to call her home, as well.

Description:  Thank you for your prayers for almost 1 year. Bishop John Elya, Eparch of Newton, will make a pastoral visit to St Elias in March to bless our new iconostasis and remodelled church. On Saturday 18 March, he will meet with the Parish Council at 2 pm and
speak at a general Parish Meeting at 3:30 pm. At 5 pm we will break for a parish supper. At 6:30 the bishop will preside at Great Vespers; after vespers we will host an Open House to welcome our bishop, our friends, and neighbors to our new church. We are honored that San Jose Bishop Patrick McGrath will attend the vespers and open house. Bishop John will
celebrate Divine Liturgy Sunday 19 March at 11am. A lunch reception will follow the Liturgy.

Description:  Please will you pray for my daughter Sharon and her daughter Nicole some time ago Sharons husband left her because drinking she then got mixed up with a man that had not long come out of jail for trying to kill his girlfriend I fear for her as he has already pulled a knife on her she now has had Nicole taken from her and put in care the man has just been put back in jail for a shooting but Sharon is still not free of him as his family are as bad as him and she is staying out of fear she has lost everything please will you pray for Sharon & Nicole Sharon is 28 & Nicole is 8years old

Description:  My mother has been continuously sick since she was a child. She comes from a very poor background yet both she and my father have managed to raise two children live with a middle class income and with less than a middle school education. She is only 52 and she has heart disease,bad circulation in her legs, virtigo due to an ear infection that left her a scar in her ear canal, she suffers from allergies, she has constant headaches, she coughs a lot and always sounds as though she is congested, she complains of chest pains, and discomfort in the area around her lungs and in the area just below her sternum. She is also always taking medications;some she has to take for life. Recently she had some x-rays taken and the doctor said that the x-rays showed a dark spot in the area of her lungs. My aunt, a nurse says that if she has TB it can be controlled but if she has cancer they have to act quickly. My biggest fear is that my mother, after she has suffered so many Illnesses may have cancer. Please pray for my mother. She has worked hard all her life even though she has been sick all along. Ever since i was a child i have always been close to God, i have tried to live a good life and implement the values that the church and my family have taught me. Now my only wish is for my mother to live free of any sickness, so that she may enjoy the rest of her life with my father and do the things that they have always dreamed of things they would have never even dreamed possible as impoverished children. Please pray for my mothers health. I am trying to stay positive and trying to have faith but sometimes i find myself depressed. Please pray that she is free of cancer and please please pray for a full recovery from all her illnesses. Your prayers are greatly appreciated.
