Parish Groups

Altar Servers

Men and boys assist at the Holy Mysteries and other Worship Services.

Arimathaens

These parishioners sing the Parastas (Wake Service), the Funeral Liturgy and prepare the Luncheon after the funeral.

Bingo Staff

Each Thursday the staff works to raise funds at bingo.

Collection Helpers

Young girls of the parish serve by assisting the ushers taking the collection.

Card Apostolate

This group sends greeting cards in the name of the Church to encourage, congratulate or console.

Circle of Friends Cancer Support Group

This non-denominational group meets monthly to talk and pray with those coping with cancer.

Coffee Shop

All members take turns serving refereshments to the rest of the parish at Coffee Fellowship Hour.

Decorators

Our decorators beautify our church for Christmas and Easter. It also decorates the hall for special events and occasions.

Gift Shop

Greeting cards, books, icons, Bibles, prayer books are made available.

Greeters

Guests and visitors are made welcome by our greeters.

Holy Rollers

Bakers of traditional rolls and Pascha Breads during the holiday seasons.

Leaders of Song

Our Liturgy depends upon dedicated talents of our singers.

Parish Hospitality

After the late Services of Christmas and Pascha, these members set a table of traditional foods for all present.

Publicity

By means of newspapers, the internet, radio and television, flyers and mailings, our publicists make our Parish and activities known.

Readers

They proclaim readings of the Old Testament and New Testament Letters and Acts.

Religious Education Staff

Almost every Sunday from September to May, the teachers devote their Sunday mornings before the Liturgy to help our youth grow in the Faith.

Solomon's Portico Prayer Group

They support the Parish by their prayer, and entreat the Lord on behalf of those who present their needs to them. E-mail your request.

Ushers

Good order is maintained by the men of the parish who serve as ushers.

Vacation Bible Camp Staff

Our staff provides eight hours for five days as they teach the Bible through plays, games and other creative challenges.

Youth Group

Our teens meet for fellowship, religious education, and activities.
